Our university members are shaping the next generation of science and technology trailblazers.
Our University Members
The rapid growth of the Science Gallery Network across four continents since its inception in 2012 is testament to its success. 2018 saw the launch of Science Gallery London at King’s College London, while Science Gallery Melbourne at The University of Melbourne, Science Gallery Bengaluruat the Indian Institute of Science, Science Gallery Venice at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, and Science Gallery Detroit at Michigan State University are all delivering programming to local audiences and developing bespoke facilities to house their own Science Gallery. Just over a decade ago, the pioneering Science Gallery Dublin launched at Trinity College Dublin.
The Network at a glance
Universities are rapidly realising the importance of building meaningful avenues for young people who would not normally engage with the institutions on their doorsteps. By joining the Science Gallery Network, universities can draw on global connections to benefit their local communities, and use their local insights to generate new research with international impact.
"King’s Science Gallery London represents a new vision for the role of the university in the 21st century. It will take critical new research on urgent issues beyond the university walls and bring them to life through science and art."
